I was recently elected to serve another year as president of the Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers (PLRW). PLRW has exciting things planned for 2010, including the Fire Up Your Fiction workshop in May with multi-published author, L.A. Banks.

I’m looking forward to the New Jersey Romance Writers’ Put Your Heart in a Book conference on October 23 and 24 in Edison, N.J., where I’m presenting a workshop on writing press releases. In the spring, I’ll join authors Jennifer Estep and Julie Kramer for a panel on “Pitching the Media” at the 2010 RT Booklovers Convention in Columbus, Ohio.

Best news of all: We await the arrival of our newest family member, our grandson, on or around Thanksgiving. Hope he gets to wear his “Little Turkey” outfit!

Life is good and our three crazy cats keep us on our toes. The other night, “the boys” even opened the theater room door and turned on the big screen TV! My husband stayed there and all three watched the baseball playoff game that was on that night. “They were waiting for me,” he said.
