Pattie Giordani is an editor at a national nonprofit membership association and was previously assistant features editor at a local daily newspaper, The Express-Times. She’s been writing for publication for 15 years Her freelance articles have appeared in The Express-Times, Baltimore magazine, I Love Cats magazine, and the Easton Irregular, a monthly arts newspaper. She has also taught nonfiction writing and grammar courses at Northampton Community College.

She won awards for her articles in the Pennsylvania Press Club’s 2001 Communications Contest—second place in special articles: science/health, second place in special articles: food, and honorable mention: feature story, daily newspaper.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Moravian College, which she earned while working full time and being a single mother to her two sons. She graduated cum laude, made the dean’s list several semesters, and is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, an academic honor society for continuing students.

Pattie lives in Eastern Pennsylvania with her husband and three crazy cats,
and she's happily awaiting the birth of her first grandson!
